My Homes WebExpert Limited complies with the NZ Privacy Act 2020. We collect only what running your project needs, never sell data, and answer access or deletion requests within 20 working days.

1. Who we are
My Homes WebExpert Limited ("we", "us") — virtual office in Auckland, New Zealand, with an engineering office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Contact: info@myhomeswebexpert.com. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and apply the same standards to all clients worldwide.
2. What we collect
Contact & quote enquiries (name, email, phone, project details); client-portal accounts (login credentials, service and ticket history); billing records processed by Stripe or SSLCommerz (we never store full card numbers); and anonymised analytics (GA4, Search Console) such as pages visited and device type.
3. How we use it
To respond to enquiries, deliver web, SEO, hosting and SaaS services, process payments, provide 24/7 support, meet legal obligations (e.g. tax invoices), and improve our website. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without your consent.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use a minimal set of cookies: strictly-necessary session and security cookies, plus privacy-friendly analytics (GA4). No advertising trackers. You can block cookies in your browser; the public site keeps working, but portal login requires session cookies.
5. Sharing & processors
Data is shared only with processors that run your service — hosting infrastructure, payment gateways, transactional email, and analytics — under contract and only on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.
6. Retention
Enquiry emails are kept up to 24 months; active client records for the life of the account plus 7 years for tax and accounting records as NZ law requires; backups rotate on a 30-day cycle. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
TLS in transit, encrypted storage and backups, least-privilege staff access, authenticated portals, and AI-monitored hosting firewalls. No system is perfectly secure — report any suspected issue to info@myhomeswebexpert.com and we act immediately.
8. Your rights
Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, your personal information. Email info@myhomeswebexpert.com and we respond within 20 working days. If unresolved, you may complain to the NZ Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time — for example when our practices, services, providers or the law change. The "Last updated" date above always shows the latest revision, and changes take effect when posted unless a later date is stated. Material changes are notified to active clients by email or portal notice, in advance where practicable. Continuing to use our services after the effective date means you accept the updated policy; if you do not agree, you may stop using the services and ask us to delete your data under section 8. 10. Free trial & module access (My Homes WebExpert platform)
Every new My Homes WebExpert workspace — Basic, Pro or Enterprise — starts with a 9-month free trial in which every module is unlocked, and no credit card is taken at signup. The 9 months start on the date your workspace is created (your own signup date), so each new client has their own trial period. Renew manually before the trial expires to keep using your workspace. The current Full Access offer includes all customer modules on every plan until further notice. A scheduled end requires at least 30 days of notice; eligible trials retain full access until their own expiry. No automatic card charge. Extra storage is quoted before anything is billed. We contact you before the trial ends to arrange the plan with you, and your workspace is never charged without your agreement. Switching a module off restricts access to it; it does not by itself delete your company's records, which stay in your isolated tenant under the retention rules in section 6. You can ask for an export, correction or deletion at any time as described in section 8.
